Biblical Wisdom for
Everyday Problems
About Me
I love seeing how the glorious story of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, shines light and enlivens each of his precious image bearers. It is my joy and deep privilege to walk alongside those who suffer and help them see themselves more truthfully, as beloved children of God.
After traveling the world as a missionary throughout Europe, Asia and the South Pacific, I have settled in the Gallatin Valley of south central Montana. I have been married for 20 years and am blessed with seven children.
When I am not in the counseling room, you can find me strength training, jumping on the trampoline, baking sourdough bread or homeschooling my children.
What is Biblical Counseling?
Biblical Counseling is a Christ-centered, Scripture-informed approach to treating each person as a precious image bearer of Jesus Christ. We use Biblical metaphors and paradigms to understand our everyday problems and struggles. Nothing we deal with, whether it is something done to us, or things we have done, stand outside of the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As saints, sinners, and sufferers, we are both known and loved by our Heavenly Father. It is his Holy Spirit that enables us to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind.
Topics I Counsel
I am honored to care for people dealing with anxiety, depression, shame, intrusive thoughts and doubt. I am privileged to walk alongside women in all stages of life; adolescence, navigating young adulthood, and mothering in different seasons. I have a heart for “third-culture kids” and those dealing with life’s transitions. I desire to counsel engaged and married couples as they seek to live out Christ’s love to one another.
I am also open to counsel in areas not mentioned above.
